As a guide, a small parcel costs $15.99 Aus Wide. This parcel will fit up to $47.50 worth of goodies, which is approximately 4 x 375ml jars or 5 x 250ml jars.

Coming from a Polish background, food was at the centre of everything in our family. My grandparents loved growing their own fruit & vegetables and cooking seasonal produce was always on the menu.

My comfort zone has always been cooking in the kitchen, whether it is to whip up a lemon tart or stirring a pot of ripe apricots ready for bottling. I always enjoyed cooking for family and friends and as the year’s progressed I liked the idea of preserving fruit and vegetables to give as gifts and to enjoy ourselves. After much encouragement from my husband, children and friends (who always were happy to take a free jar of jam and give me their feedback), I took a leap and entered the Sydney Royal Easter Show to see if what I was making was good or if everyone was just being polite!!! I was overwhelmed and humbled by the results, winning many awards for the few jars I entered. The following year I decided to give it another crack and entered as many as I could handle. I ended up being the overall Preserve Winner and had one of my recipes published in the Women’s Weekly.  The following year I was invited to cook in the Women’s Weekly Test Kitchen.

All preserves winning awards are marked on my website for e.g. Tomato Kasundi, Raspberry Jam, Apricot Jam, Plum Jam, Quince Jelly just to name a few.

Just like my grandmother’s, I love using seasonal produce and turning them into little jars of goodness to be enjoyed all year round. I hope you get as much enjoyment eating my goodies as I did making them, the secret ingredient in all my jars is LOVE :)
